Today’s episode will be a bit different from the other episodes. Usually, I interview experienced game designers or do a lot of research about a topic before I cover it here on the show. Today it’s more of a discussion I’d say. But since I’m alone today calling it a discussion is kind of weird isn’t it. it’s more of a monologue. But I would like to make it a discussion. With whom? With all of you guys out there. What I want to say. Today I have more of an idea, but I don’t know if I should go for it or not. That’s why I wanted to talk to you about the pros and cons that come to mind and then get your feedback.
The topic I want to talk about is a potential Kickstarter campaign. But not a standard board game Kickstarter campaign in which you offer a finished board game as a final product. But more like a preliminary campaign for a Print and Play version or a Prototype Tabletop Simulator Module.
I will go through some pros and some doubts about running a preliminary campaign.
